With a few weeks into the year, most of us have probably made a good effort to start or stick with our new year’s health resolutions… But let me ask you: What program have you chosen? A 14-day detox? A 21-day sugar elimination? Or no alcohol for the month of January?

Whatever trend you choose, you should always aim to nourish your body with nutrients for the long term rather than counting calories, grams or points daily. When your objective is to heal your body you may achieve weight loss, digestion improvements or glowing skin much easier than the short-term “side effects” of a diet.

Leading the right lifestyle can take care of the majority of your symptoms and eating the right foods for your health situation can save you from frustration or guessing what really works.
